Stuart Milk on Harvey Milk’s Legacy & Lessons for the Jewish GLBT Movement

Please join us for a reception and talk by Stuart Milk, LGBT rights activist and nephew of Harvey Milk. Mr. Milk will talk about Harvey Milk’s legacy, the role Harvey’s Jewish identity played in his activism, and the lessons of his life and work for the Jewish GLBT movement.

This public event is part of the LGBT Jewish Movement Building Convening, an historic gathering of Jewish lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) leaders to build a stronger and more unified movement for LGBT inclusion and equality in Jewish life. Stuart Milk is the founder of the Harvey Milk Foundation and the Harvey Milk Global Human Rights Institute whose goal is to advise, assist and support LGBT rights organizations, movements and advocates worldwide with a primary mission to help achieve equality through the story and message of his late Uncle in all corners of the globe and to fulfill Harvey’s dream of a world without discrimination and a world without hate
