Have you noticed that our public conversations about controversial issues tend not to be so civilized? For that matter, how about arguing with your roommates?
Non-Violent Communication(NVC) is a way of speaking with one another that minimizes conflict, and a way of being in the world that keeps us centered on what we know and what we need. This short introduction will give you the tools to use NVC in your daily life, relationships, and work life. Even just an hour can really transform how these relationships play out — come learn this skill with Nehirim’s Jay Michaelson in a “lunch and learn” program on Friday, April 20.
